First Time Paddling at the Triadelphia Reservoir

Join me on my very first stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) trip to the beautiful Triadelphia Reservoir in Maryland! It was a hot summer day, but the calm waters, peaceful surroundings, and stunning views made it a perfect spot to explore by paddleboard. From gliding along quiet coves to soaking in the serenity of nature, this adventure turned out to be a memorable one. Note:

• If you follow Google Maps, it will take you to a residential area with no access to the reservoir or the boat launch site. Zoom in on the map and locate a pin near the destination indicated by the Google map. The pin says “boat launch,” which is where you will need to navigate to get to the water. • For any recreational activity at the reservoir, you will also need a permit either for the day or the season. This pass is in addition to a Maryland fishing license if you are going fishing.
